If you are looking for the best places in NYC that put on a holiday show, make sure to visit the below destinations this month! With Riverbank’s central location in Hell’s Kitchen, two of them are just a walk away from your Riverbank apartments.

 

5th Avenue: If you make your way down Fifth Avenue, you will run into an abundance of holiday cheer and decorations! Easy to get to from your Riverbank apartment, you can walk or take the Subway to The Plaza Hotel, famous for it’s Christmas scenes from Home Alone 2. Starting from the south end of Central Park, stores all along the famous NYC Avenue will have holiday displays, music and lights in their store windows – along with amazing gifts! As you reach midtown you can snap a photo at Rockefeller Center and see the famous tree with other festive decor. Cross the street from the tree to Saks Fifth Avenue where they will once again have their 12 story light show taking place several times every night.

 

Time Warner Center: Head uptown from Riverbank to the Shops at Columbus Circle at the Time Warner Center for one of the best holiday displays! The 14 foot ginormous stars light up the space with flashing colors while playing everyone’ favorite holiday songs. You’ve probably been seeing plenty of pictures of Instagram to remind you how awesome it is.

 

Dyker Heights: Dyker Heights in Brooklyn is famous nationally for their neighborhood festive cheer and extravagant holiday light displays. Well worth the trip out to Brooklyn, you can see some of the best holiday scenes in the city! Most light displays are between 11th and 13th Avenue.
